April 2019 Product Release
Software AG releases new product versions twice a year: in April and October.
In April most of the products have an Innovation Release. This type of release is intended for customers who want to get their hands on new features and capabilities as quickly as possible. However, it is not intended for long-term production use, as we only provide fixes for the first 6 months, and support for the first 12 months. Customers who adopt this release will be required to migrate to the next standard release within 12 months.
webMethods, Terracotta, Universal Messaging, Zementis, Mashzone NextGen and some Adabas & Natural products are included in the Innovation Release. For most ARIS, Apama, Alfabet, Trendminer and some Adabas & Natural products, this is a Standard Release with a normal support cycle.
To learn more about the Innovation Release read this FAQ (requires login).

LongJump and AgileApps System Migration
Official Notice of LongJump and AgileApps System Migration
We will be upgrading our hosting capabilities by moving the LongJump and AgileApps platform from Rackspace to Amazon AWS (US).
During the migration you won’t be able to access LongJump and AgileApps applications.
Please see the below FAQ for additional information.
The system will be unavailable during these hours:
- Start time: Friday, Nov 17th 2017 7:30 PM Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8)
- End time: Sunday, Nov 19th 2017 11:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8)
Why are we migrating to AWS?
LongJump and AgileApps have been hosted on Rackspace since LongJump was launched in 2007. During the last 10 years hosting technology has advanced tremendously and we want to improve our ability to offer reliable cloud services. The security and governance services are also much more extensive with AWS technology.
What impact will this have to my applications?
We’ve tested this migration and don’t expect there to be any impact to your applications.
How do I access LongJump or AgileApps after the migration?
After the migration, use the same login URL you’ve used previously.
If I encounter an issue, how should I report it?
If you encounter an issue, please raise a support case or open a Support Incident on Empower. If you are not the primary contact for your tenant, please let your System Administrators know so that they can raise a Support Incident on Empower.

The Top 5 IT Modernization Capabilities You Need to Have
Thursday | May 26, 2016 | 11am PT / 2pm ET
IT Modernization is a broad topic encompassing everything from infrastructure to legacy systems. In order to put perspective into this topic, it is helpful to both categorize and highlight areas of focus for public sector IT organizations, both enterprise-wide and departmental.
We will discuss 'degrees of freedom' as well as 'degrees of service' and what that means to IT organizations. For instance, are you monitoring sensitive data and who is accessing it across the enterprise? What else can you do to provide citizens with self-service opportunities? What options exist to increase the sharing of applications and data?
This webinar will highlight five recommended areas of focus which includes:
• Reuse of Services - Improving Access to Services and Data
• Information Sharing
• Building and Managing Self-Service Applications
• Streaming Analytics
• Effectively Using Big Data
